A Great Little Camera, Use it and Then You will Know After several months of using the Pentax Q S1 I can now give a review. I started by reading reviews in various online magazines. The authors went from a great little camera to total donât buy. So not much help. It seemed the ones that hated it focused on specs and viewed it as a toy. Well the specs are good, the firmware and features are rich and well thought out. The design is nice and well thought out also. Things like the battery compartment and SD card compartment are on the sides so they can be reached even when on a tripod. The lens ( I have all of the Prime ones) are excellent in use. So having been a user of the Pentax 110 SLR I know that small does not mean poor image. I have enlarged the digital files up to 40×60 and they hold up fine The colors are rich and saturated. This is a easy to use camera with features to allow use under most any situation. Some reviews said other small cameras were better you just had to spend more money and deal with small being bigger.
