A Terrific New Fuji Camera for Either those Moving into Mirrorless Cameras or Experienced Photographers Needing a Lighter Backup This is a terrific camera. I’ve been using Fuji equipment for about four or five years now and have experience with the vast majority of Fuji’s cameras and lenses, all the way from their entry-level models up to the more expensive “XF” lenses and the newly-released (spring 2018) X-H1 camera, and have also used them in a wide variety of shooting environments. Although my camera of choice is currently the X-H1 for a series of reasons that I have listed in my separate review for that camera, this new Fuji X-T100 camera is well worthy of your consideration. This is equally true whether you are beginning photographer or a more experienced photographer looking for a second, lighter camera that you might wish to use when you don’t want to lug all your other equipment around. The Fuji X-T100 is truly a great way to enter into the Fuji X mount system at a more than reasonable price, and with a camera that provides a significant percentage of all the features of the revered X-T2, but at…

if absolutely wonderful crisp. When you eyes need glasses This is a cute little camera with a very light kit lens, i planned it to be the goto vacation camera. It weights a third of my X-H1 but has similar sized sensor and the X-mount fits my lenses. The Electronic View Finder, EVF, if absolutely wonderful crisp. When you eyes need glasses, the LCD is not the best option, it is nice to just put the EVF to your eye and see clear again … with the full resolution of your eye.The X-T100 is an entry level camera and it do not try to hide this. You can set it to fully automatic or you can dig into all the manual settings and twist the 4 dials or use the touch screen to “point-focus-and-shoot”.The fully automatic mode SR+ is not to my liking, the focus is forced to continuous mode and hunts around, even on high contrast object. This function tries to guess what to focus and it more than often chooses random objects with the focus hunting back and forth. The other modes PASM are more under user…

Nice quality, features, style, but ergonomics were a deal breaker I have child now and don’t travel internationally much anymore, so I thought it was time to trade in my large and bulky but venerable Nikon DSLR for a smaller more nimble mirrorless camera. I did a lot of research watching videos on YouTube and reading reviews and loved the image qualities and features I was seeing from Fujifilm. The X-T100 was the best priced for me because I wanted to buy a higher-end lens with the body and spend less than $1,000 total.Within the first 10 minutes of holding it I knew I had made a mistake buying this camera… It has a beautiful look with great features, but is sadly one of the most unergonomic camera I’ve ever held. As a man with slightly largish hands, even with the optional included grip put on it, it was super uncomfortable to hold because it’s just too small and has too little area for the fingers. I couldn’t pick it up without my thumb mashing some of the buttons on the back by accident.I’m accustomed to high…
