just delightful for the novice got this for my spousal equivalent who isn’t mechanically inclined and she’s loving it. one interesting feature which maybe is normal or run-of-the-mill but certainly hasn’t been in my long photography experience is its ability to take a decent photo in low light situations WITHOUT a flash. sitting in a restaurant without much illumination, she took a photo and then we tried to find out how to get the flash to fire, as I was sure it would not turn out, but it turned out perfect. Nice zoom and close focus range too.

So far I’m liking it but taking getting used to for a non-professional that doesn’t understand camera “lingo”. Still learning how to use it. Wanted a simple camera and this is more complicated than what I was thinking but you can’t find a simple point and shoot camera these days that has good telephoto so slowly getting used to it. Will take me a while since I’m not a professional photographer and have no clue what a lot of the things mean but slowly and surely I will get it down! So far the pictures I’ve taken have been clear but all I’ve used is auto thus far. Sort of weird taking the battery out of the camera to charge it but got the package with the extra battery so I would always have one charged so that’s not a big deal and the charging is easy, just strange to me. So far I’m liking it but it’s going to take me a while to get everything down, but that’s just me. Thus far it’s a great little camera. The case that came with it is way too big unless you plan on taking everything involved with the camera with your (say on vacation) but I had a smaller case that works fine for daily…

I would reccomend This replaced a very old SX110 I had. So far I’m loving it. I love that it is so compact but still has lots of great features in it. The bag included in this kit is far too big for the camera. I think considering you are getting the 32 GB SD card and a second battery it is definitely worth the price.
