The FinePix S8630 bridge camera features a powerful 36x FUJINON zoom lens, a high-quality 16MP sensor and a host of creative features wrapped up in a pocket-friendly body. The S8630’s newly developed three-step collapsible lens automatically retracts when not in use to leave a seriously compact body. A highly versatile lens means you’re covered whether the subject is wide-angle landscapes or highly magnified action. The S8630 even has a Super Macro. Backing the lens up at every turn is FUJIFILM’s sensor-shift Optical Image Stabilization system to combat any trace of blur in pictures. The S6830 also boasts autofocus times up to 0.4 second, a start-up time of 1.7 seconds and a shooting interval of just 1.3 seconds for rapid-fire, responsive and hassle-free photography. Fans of shooting video won’t be disappointed. Awesome Camera on the Cheap I bought this camera to take hiking, when I know I’m not going to want to take complex photos (time lapse, RAW, and so on). At a $60 price point I figured I couldn’t go wrong. This camera takes decent photos. They quality will not knock your block off, but it’s good. The flash works well for a run of the mill, built in flash. The zoom on this thing is incredible. I’m used to having a range of 25 to 300mm. Having a range of 25 to 900mm is crazy. Granted the photos are not amazing, but it’s still handy. There are some manual modes in this camera but the one that is missing is an aperture priority. I use that mode the most on my other camera. I can use the Manual mode in this one, but I’m lazy :)Since this was a refrubished camera, it did not come with a lens cap. DO NOT search “S8600 Lens Cap.” That will give you results in the 20 to 40 dollar range. That’s stupid expensive for a lens cap, that you are going to put on a $60 to $80…
Don’t let this little thing fool you!
I loved the photo images
