Tuff not to give this camera five stars when you factor in what it can be bought for against performance and features. I was puzzled by the occasional highly negative reviews on these cameras. I have a few observation. My example of this camera would fit in the “happy camper” crowed. First thing I learned about using this camera is if you want consistent sharp clean pictures as soon as the focus is achieved and the stabilization control activates you must immediately take the picture. The longer you wait the higher the possibility the you will get a substandard picture. This is even more evident when using the excellent zoom at or near its limits. I am currently am looking at a full zoom picture of my neighbors jet ski on my 64″ plasma HDTV and it looks very good. Next,in obvious low light situations don’t be afraid to use the excellent flash. Because it has to be manually selected I suspect some folks are pushing the low light abilities of this camera very hard. All cameras any were near this price point use a 1/2.35″ CCD image sensor. They are not going to excel in low light situations but will do…
